Hello! I’m Calvert Thompson, owner of Calvert Rejuvenations Spa in Herndon, voted Best Facial and Best Spa by Northern Virginia Magazine Readers. I opened Calvert Rejuvenations in July of 2006 and began my private practice of clinical skin care and results-oriented bodywork. Since February 2008 Calvert Rejuvenations Spa has been the stand-alone spa that you see today. I have built this practice on my belief that relaxation and the “spa experience” can combine with exceptional results through state of the art, goal-oriented treatments.

Hi! My name is Ginger Awig and I LOVE the skin and skincare!!! My passion has been developing for over 10 years. Starting in high-end retailers, I worked for prestige skincare and makeup lines beginning at age 20, and it was an easy transition into professional skincare in 2007. I graduated with a 600 hours Esthetics Licence from Yvonne DeVillar Skincare School and didn’t stop there! I decided to continue my education earning a 1200 hours Masters Esthetics Licence in 2008. I have a love for Advanced Skincare such as Peels (even the strongish ones!) and Microdermabrasion, and have an extensive knowledge of the skincare lines carried at Calvert Rejuvenations. I have been a Certified Massage Therapist and Reflexologist for over 9 years, and more recently I went back to school to become a Certified Esthetician. I have not only worked as a hands on massage therapist, but I have also been a massage therapy instructor for two local colleges. I love to help new therapists discover the same passion I have for helping people through the art, and healing that massage can provide.I first became a massage therapist because of my desire for helping people overcome chronic pain, injuries, and just the stress of life that can cause muscle tension. I use a wide variety of modalities to help each and every person I work with, ranging from deep tissue, sports massage, neuromuscular therapy, and trigger point therapy, just to name a few. Each massage is different for each person. I customize your massage experience depending on your specific goals. My goal is that when your massage is complete you will feel a great difference with whatever pain you came in with and of course you will feel rejuvenated!
For my facial treatments I focus on each clients personal skin care goals, by not only providing a rejuvenating facial experience but by also educating each person on an easy and effective at home skin care treatment plan. I also specialize in our LED infrared light therapy treatment, which is a painless, relaxing, and highly effective treatment that creates a noticeable difference in your first visit! It helps with hyperpigmentaion, under eye circles, acne, and fine lines, with no side effects just bright beautiful skin! Of course my facial treatments also include lots of massage! You will not only have beautiful skin but you will also feel like you had a full body massage!

Originally from the suburbs of Baltimore, a position at the Ritz Carlton brought me to NoVa 2 years ago. I have been an LME for 8 years, graduated from Von Lee International School of Esthetics in Baltimore, MD and a CMT for 4 years, graduated from Baltimore School of Massage in Baltimore, MD.
I started getting facials at the age of 13 to treat my own issues with pretty severe teenage acne and have remained extremely passionate about treating and caring for skin, the largest organ in the body.
I enjoy and am experienced in many aspects of skincare including: facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, LED, waxing, and spa body treatments.
I value the importance of educating my clients as well as myself by attending regular continuing education training to perfect my skills and enhance my knowledge in this ever-changing field. I am excited to be learning more about Energy work, Reiki, Reflexology, and healing practices to incorporate into my body work sessions.
